Circulation and excretion
The circularly system must work with both the diegestive and respiratory system to do so. The circulatory system transports needed materials to cells and takes away wastes. Complex animals have one of two types of circulatory systems: open or closed. A heart is a hollow, muscular structure that pumps blood through vessels.
Open circulatory system
in an open circulatory system blood does not always travel inside vessels
closed circulatory systems
In a closed circulatory system, blood always stays inside vessels and the heart. Capillaries are tiny, thin- walled blood vessels where the blood and bloody cells exangüe substance.
How do vertebrate circulatory systems differ?
Some closed systems have a single - loop circulation pattern. Others have a double- loop circulation pattern. One type of chamber is called an atrium. An atrium receives blood from the body. The other type of chamber is called a ventricle. A ventricle receives blood from an atrium and pumps it to the body.
A single loop pattern
A single loop circulation pattern forces blood around an animal's body in one direction.
a double loop pattern
In the second loop, the left side of the heart pumps the oxygen rich blood out to the rest of the body.
How do animals get rid of wastes?
Many animals have specialized structures to get rid of wastes. In animals, the excretory system that rids a body of nitrogen contaning wastes, and excess salt and water. In vertebrates, kiednies are the main organs that filter nitrogen containing wastes from the blood. They produce urine, a watery fluid that hold those wastes.
Why Animals Need Oxygen?
All animals need oxygen for cellular respiration. What is cellular respiration? Is the process cells use oxygen to digest food.
Exchanging Gases
Animals use a process called disfuncion for exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide What is disfunction? The movement of particles.
Animals living in Water
Animals that live in water use their gills to breath. The Gills are very similar to feathers but they are use to birth.
Animals that live on land
The animals that live on land use longs to birth, But others use their skin to breath.
Vertebrate Estructore
The vertebrates use lugs but there are differents types of lungs. But birds use air sacas system.
